After graduating in Law from the University of Milan in 1989, Roberto began his professional experience in intellectual property, immediately specializing in the field of trademarks. During his professional career, he attended specialization courses – both in EU law and international trade, both in marketing and communication – and held positions of increasing responsibility for important organizations in the sector, both nationally and internationally, until he joined GLP in 2019.
In over thirty years of experience, Roberto has gained a wide range of experience and developed skills ranging from trademarks, models, and domain names that allow him to manage important portfolios of brands of Italian and international Clients who are active in various sectors. Roberto participates, also as a speaker, in courses and seminars on issues related to intellectual property organized by Chambers of Commerce, Order of Consultants and Universities.
Roberto, on a daily basis, provides consulting services in the management of the trademark portfolio of Italian and foreign companies, representing clients before the EUIPO (European Union Office for Intellectual Property – responsible for the registration of trademarks and designs of the European Union), WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), UIBM (Italian Patent and Trademark Office), as well as various national or regional administrations around the world.
Thanks to his professional and linguistic skills, Roberto is also active in the international professional community; in fact, he has been a member of the INTA Committee for several terms.
