After holding key positions in industry, Gilberto establishes the company GLP in 1967 whose President he still is.
Thanks to his strong technical and legal skills, Gilberto knows how to manage the firm providing high quality consultancy with respect to any aspect of innovation, that is what has always distinguished GLP.
Gilberto has gained remarkable experience dealing with all aspects of Intellectual Property.
Since the introduction of the European Patent, he has represented numerous companies, gaining important experience, both in prosecution and in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.
Additionally, he daily drafts license agreements and analyses and evaluates intangible assets.
He regularly assumes the role of a technical consultant for patents, designs and trademarks before various Italian Courts and Courts specialized in Intellectual Property.
He cooperated with the Master Programs “International Business” of the University of Trieste, the program “Industrial Property Management” of the University Politecnico di Milano and with the University of Perugia.
He has been instructor for IP specialists from countries of the former Sovietic Union and speaker in workshops in N.A.T.O projects.
Gilberto is author of different publications and regularly participates as speaker in conferences and seminars covering Intellectual Property topics.
He has been admitted as European Patent Attorney since 1979, as Italian Patent, Design and Trademark Attorney since 1983 and as Patent, Design and Trademark Attorney in San Marino since 2000. Moreover, he is admitted as Trademark and Design Attorney before the EUIPO.
Gilberto is member of AIDB, AIPPI, ECTA, LES Italia and of the Italian Association of Industrial Property Consultants (Collegio Italiano dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale).
