EU funds: up to € 1,500 for SMEs to protect intellectual property
The SME fund supported by the European Commission and EUIPO has a budget of 20 million euros and is intended for companies wishing to develop and protect their IP rights 15 March 2021The purpose of the Ideas Powered for Business Fund is to support small and medium-sized European enterprises that want to develop intellectual property (IP) strategies, making available up to 1,500 euros for a partial reimbursement of the costs of IP pre-diagnosis services (IP Scan) and applications for trademarks, industrial designs and models.
To date, Italian SMEs have access to the service that allows a 50% reduction on basic taxes for trademark, design and model applications.
As a main requirement, it is sufficient to be an SME based in one of the 27 EU Member States and send the request in one of the following available time periods:
